At a magazine is this contest in wich u write a letter for the magazine and say what you think about this magazine. The prize is an iPod Nano and I really want to win the contest.Can you give an ideea of what to write for the contest? The magazine is for women and it is about fashion, lifestyle and others. I need an ideea that will impress the editors(in a good way). PLS help me!
Answers:
Tell them the truth about what you think of the magazine. The truth is worth a million bucks to someone who is in the business of selling to the public.
Tell them what you like about the magazine and what you don't like, what you would like to see more of and who you would like to see on the cover. Tell them who you are, what age you are, what your hobbies are and why you buy their magazine.
Like I said, they pay their marketing research firms millions for this information. That they turned this into a contest, with an ipod as the prize, is brilliant on their part.
Be honest, don't flatter, offer constructive advice.
