There are books at Barnes & Noble on starting a magazine. But be warned: Most start ups go under in less than a year. One really awesome international magazine stated that they had $100,000 seed money but barely made it through their first year. It takes a LOT of money to start a magazine (through advertising). Do your research. Good luck.
