How do you make those butterflies out of magazines?!

How do you make those butterflies out of magazines?
Anyone know? They look like they're made out of two strips of magazine, then pleated, and bound in the middle, but I'm not quite sure....
Answers:
I think you just take a magazine page, fold it like an accordian with about 1" strips and then tie it together in the middle with something and then fold it out. Is that what you're talking about?
