What type of things would you like to see in a magazine( a small local mag.)?!

What type of things would you like to see in a magazine( a small local mag.)?

I love reviews of local restaurants, articles on locally owned businesses. One such magazine I recently saw had a monthly 2 page spread for people to submit photos of them and their pets. It also had poetry and "thoughts" submitted by locals. It should make local people feel good because they know the places and people included and also be informative to visitors to the area.
