producer: an organism that makes it own food.
consumer: an organism that eats others for its food.
decomposer: an organism that decomposes dead organisms.
predator: an organism that eats other organisms.
prey: an organism eaten by a predaor.
scavenger: an organism that feeds on the dead animals (?)
parasitism: when an organism lives on another organism. (i.e. tick on dog)
