Who here reads magazines on the toilet? Which ones? National Enquirer? Entertain!

Question:

Who here reads magazines on the toilet? Which ones? National Enquirer? Entertainment weekly?

I remember, growing up in the 70's, people used to actually
have little magazine racks next to the toilet on the floor.
Why do we never hear of the unsung pleasures of reading while taking a dump? Does anyone make the "dump" last? Speaking for myself, I always save that last "ker-plop" for the end of my reading session. That puts a cap on a wonderfully private experience
on the "throne".......in the 70's(yes, the 70's again), they used
to have a book at joke stores(another 70's thing? anyone remember joke and prank stores where they would sell magic tricks, pranks, and silly books?), they used to sell a book called "101 things you can do on the toilet"

If I didn't post this question, I never would have realized that "long dumps" or "recreational dumps" with books or newspapers are a guy thing. At our office in Chicago, you can see guys grab the paper before their dump. In chicago,
we also have a thing called "morning dump", a nice quiet time with just you, the stall, and the newspaper". That's very important to the executives here in downtown chicago

anyone here talk to people that are inside the stalls taking a dump? That nay be more a girl than a guy thing. I've heard people ask for toilet paper over here in Chicago, but its a little strange here!

I strongly believe that Parade magazine
is primarily read on the toilet. I would venture to say that it was MADE for reading on the toilet! I like reading advertising inserts like Best Buy and/or
catalogs on the pot for some reason.

17 magazine is a good one because you don't have to think when you read it, and its got lot's of advertisements. Good brain-freeze magazine. When you get older, you'll find COSMOPOLITAN serves the same purpose. Actually, women would never admit it, but COSMO is prob the number 1 toilet reading for 20 and 30 something women......
