The "New Yorker"?
Does any one else not from/or living in New York love it as much as I but wish they would be a little more objective in their editorial content?
Also have the cartoons been less funny lately?
I think 9/11 had a very deep impact on this publication--beyond the obvious.
Answers:
I used to read it pretty faithfully, and have the issue that came out the day before 9/11 packed away somewhere, but long ago came to the conclusion that, for the most part, it's too pretentious and preachy for its own good anymore. It'd always been just a little too smug and one-sided, but it has gotten worse. I'm Pittsburgh, not New York, in case you're wondering.
