Why is this months Vibe magazine cover so explicit?
im 14 and my mom and sister saw the cover of Vibe magazine i got from a 3 month Foot Locker subsription with Janet Jackson with her top off covering her breasts, with her arm, my mom didnt say anything, and my sister's acting like nothing happend?

I guess it's so explicit because consumers are more likely to buy a magazine if the cover is eyecatching and that cover was certainly eyecatching. I bought it to read about how Janet got back in shape like that but I was a little embarassed for my 14 yr old daughter to read it. Vibe is getting to be a magazine filled with more advertisements than actual hip hop news anyway. I think I better stick with Sister 2 Sister.
