Has anybody read a good book lately? can u tell us about it?

i just finished reading Shantaram by Gregory Robert Davis. its awesome. What should I pick up next. Suggest a few good reads pls.

I am currently reading a novelized biography of Sigmund Freud. We think of him as a two dimensional character - just stating things. Yet, there must have been life experiences that led him to his theories. The book goes slowly through what Freud had experienced that gave him his ideas and how his practice changed over time.
He wasn't born a psycologist with all his theories intact in his head. It is a very interesting read. The author is Irving Stone, an excellent writer who focuses on these biographies of famous people - Van Gogh, Michelangelo, etc.
