Aren't we, the Public partly to blame for the way the paparazzi chase Celebs!

Question: I Dont Buy the type of Mags that Publish them nor do I take any interest in them type of Pictures in Newspapers either, They don't even register with me when I'm reading a paper, but there must be millions that do. Would the only way to stop it be to stop buying them in the first place?.

I agree with you. Live and let live. I really can not understand why people have the need or desire to purchase the magazines that publish such pictures.
No, it wouldn't stop it, people are way too concerned with celebs. They are regular people just like everyone else they are just in the public eye 24/7 it makes no sense to view them any differently than the average person. When you are in the lime light everything is different if you are spotted outside a convenience store at 2am wearing your pj's its so shocking if you are a celebrity, but if you are a regular old Joe its no biggie.
Of course we are. I don't buy papers or mags for the pictures necessarily but more for the stories and gossip but we definitely contribute to the ruthlessness of the paparazzi.
as long as the public remains fixated as to whether Brittney Spears remembers to put her panties on, or whether she is drinking, shaving her head, partying, being carried drunk out of clubs, etc.....they will continue to follow them and photograph them. I have my own life to live and could care less what these airheads do.
Yes! It is only part of the supply and demand atmosphere that is our society. We, as a public, demand to know EVERYTHING that goes on in the world of the celebrity and the Paparazzi supply all that we ask for. Even to the point of risking the health of the individual that they are after.
Catch 22 really, if we didn't buy the magazines they wouldn't take the pictures but if they didn't take the pictures we wouldn't buy the magazines.
Yes entirely, if there was no audience for all the crap that gets written, photographed & taped then it simply wouldn't happen! Y'know nobody has ever papped me walking round looking like crap or buying Alka Seltzers in Sainsburys namely because no-one cares! Having said all that there are an awful lot of celebs who court the media because it gets whatever nonsense they happen to be up to in the press & therefore makes them more cash
This is a pretty topical question in light of the Princess Diana Inquest going on at the moment. Would the car of crashed if the 'Paps' hadn't been chasing it?

Peoples desire these days for pictures and gossip of the celebs is what keeps the Paps in a job and there are more and more of these types of magazines on the market plus the Daily Newspapers which 'buy' these pictures.

I have to confess though, I do buy Heat Magazine for the 2 reasons I listed above.
I agree. I couldn't care less where these so called celebs eat or go clubbing. The only news worth hearing is how they justify their huge earnings parading around drunk or stoned. I would be interested to hear of any marriages or births or charity work they do.
i gree the 1 person i feel sorry for at the moment is britney spears she was led into that life by her parents she hasnt known any other 1 and then the press pull her down to the gutter. i think if she didnt hav to cope with the press she would still have her kids. also think its ridiculous the way the press just turn on people. it must be very stressful having to live with photographers round every corner
