Yes, if you have big norks and are willing to have them photographed for the magazine, I'm sure they'd be able to find you a ... position...
No. You might be able to follow someone around to learn about a job but probably not because labor laws. Try going there and explaining you would like to intern for a week or so as part as a school assignment.
i doubt it will really unless u pester the magazine company!
your best bet is to fine work placemnts nearer to you- dependng what you want to do!
job ceneter or even online can help .
Well you have to be near them, like live in London, try ringing them or going to their building and explaining your interests in the magazine industry.
hi there,
i reckon there's no harm in asking, it says opposite the letters page (got my copy of heat today lol) no work experience slots until Jan 08 so id book in early and they obviously take work experience people.

your best bet is to write them a nice letter, with the help your teacher or parent, (maybe attach another letter from them as well) yours saying stuff like you love the mag your really interested in journalism work, etc the other saying how your 'allowed to go, and what school your from and stuff.

heat
endeavour house
189 shaftesbury avenue
london
wc2 8jg
(theres also phone numbers but prob best to write a letter)

and there's no harm at all in aiming high! - just make sure you'll be able to get there safely.

p.s if all else fails you could try some of the local papers - i know it doesnt sound as good but its all experince and we all have to start somewhere goodluck x
just look for them :D
i hope u do get it like
no harm in asking ey

gd luck =]

They do have contact details, i just looked on their website...here you go:

Work experience and job queries – admin@heatworld.com

Just email them and tell them you want to do work experience etc.
why dont you phone them up and ask them!
Normally where it has the list of who works for the magazine they have at the top when they have work placements avaliable.

I did work experience at Bliss Magazine (in the same building as Heat) and TV Hits magazine when I was 14 - it was good! lots of freebies!]

Also magazines only do 1 week work placements - so get writing to more magazines for the 2nd week!

Ive just checked my heat magazine and they have no placements until January 2008, what you need to do is write to them with the week that you want to work and they normally write/phone you to arrange it.

Good luck!
