Can I throw away mail order catalogs as they are or should I remove my address a!

Question: I've noticed that several of the mail order catalogs I get have a customer number above my name and address. I'm wondering if an identity thief would be able to use that in any way. Anyone work for a company like that and know if it's any big deal? Any help would be apprediated.

REMOVE THEM!! I learned in Civics the other day that as soon as you put your trash out on your curb to be carried away, it no longer belongs to you! the court has every right to use any information found in it in court. That would also mean that other people could go through your trash and you could do nothing about it.

I would remove any of that kind of information just to be on the safe side.

when in doubt, tear it off
