Does anyone else feel this way about Women's magazines?!

Question: I used to read a ton of them when I was 12/13 and they are always full of articles about "what men really think". But then they suggest that all men cheat, only care about looks, and see committment as a burden. In reality MOST MEN are NOT like that. It took me a lot to undo the mind game these magazines did to me. Have you ever felt like this?

Well I used to read cosmo lots but not no more, it's always the same article just coming from a different angle and a new title...and yes they tend to lean towards boyfriends being unfaithful more than being faithful and not all guys are that way just the same there are girls that constantly cheat as well it's not all one sided like they make it sound.

no i dont read those mags.

I read more manly and masculane mags like Vogue and Cosmo.

I understand what you mean. I have felt the same way with magazines like Cosmo -- which is why I avoided them like the plague.

But there are other women's magazines that I do love. Magazines like Vogue for the fashion, Shape for a healthy lifestyle, and Bust for articles.

I think you just have to pick and choose. There are some decent magazines out there that aren't try to earn a buck and brainwash you. Also, I think it isn't very healthy for a 12/13 year old to be reading woman magazines like Cosmo -- like with you, they teach the wrong things. Sorry you had to do damage control caused by stupid mags/articles.
