The Tit-bits and Week-end magazine/paper. Do you remember these?!

Question: I do indeed. I guess you must be an old bugger like me?

i remember the week-end mag as a boy as my father used to have it just for the tough crossword puzzle

Yes, I remember them very well, Weekend used to have a crossword called the stinker, and it certainly was. Also, there was Revielle and a paper called The Weekly News, all good reads. If you really wanted to be risqu'e, how about the two "under the counter" magazines Spick and Span ?
Thanks for the memories !

My Dad used to buy Tit-bits, Revally and Spick and Span and hide them on the top shelf of the box room. Which was quite funny 'cos that's where Mum used to leave her kaolin and morphine mixture to settle! Little old me used to hide the mags and shake the bottles. Nasty Eh?

I was a youngster at the time but my dad had both of these and I could not get over the pin up on the front of both of them. They always had on a brief bikini and I thought they were really sexy. By today's standards the girls were over dressed.

Yes, unfortunately! lol

Sure - do - dont remind me!!

yes used to buy them every week .... god im getting old

My parents used to buy them occasionally such as when we went on holiday, along with Reveille. When I got older I thought they had long gone, but I saw some lying around in an old gentleman's barber's shop when I was waiting for a haircut in the 1980s.

With their tight skirts and seamed stockings the models not only left more to the imagination but as a result were far saucier than the artless, naked meat photographs (that would be more at home in a book of pathology) popular today!

sure do and im not ashamed to say it .
