HELP!! I need help with a magazine!!!!!!!!?!

Question: Ok, so I'd like to start a magazine, but I have a few questions.
1.) Is it a good idea to get a P.O. Box?
2.) Should I print it at home and spend money on ink and paper, or pay to get it printer(and how much would that cost?)?
3.) Is there a graphic design program I can buy to help me put my magazine together? Word just doesn't quite cut it.\
4.) The magazine is for homeschooled teens, so I need suggestions on how to advertise since the market for my magazine is relatively small. I've thought of adult HS magazines and HS support groups, but I need more ideas.

Thanks so much!

:)

Wow Ashley, too many things at once! Why dont you go and ask for an interview with an editor in chief of any publication near your homwtown? This will cover the printing aspect and the money problem. The topic of your magazine is not important right now as first you need a projection of money involved.
About the printing, I'm no expert but I would think a very good color copying machine can do the trick.
A PO Box is a good idea, but you need to install a payment method, like paypal or something like that.
Ask someone who has already done it so you will save time and money. Good luck!

1) Yes. If you start a business you want a separate mailing address, but it shouldn't be a PO Box. Try a postal address.
2) How big is your projected circulation? Its very expensive to print on a large scale, but its up to you. Try a webzine...
3) Adobe InDesign or Quark. I use InDesign...
4) You want to get advertisers or you want to advertise for readers? If you are trying to get advertisers for readers I would try advertising on MySpace or Facebook. Directly to your target market...good luck!
