Is Cosmopolitan Magazine, trashy?!

Question: Well I've subscribed to magazines since 1970 or so, and I always thought Cosmo was total crap. I mean, how many articles can you run on "The Do's and Don'ts of Office Romance" and "How to put some steam back into that Relationship" etc etc.
Plus, a million interchangeable identical boring covers.

My Mom subscribed to "Vogue" and "Bazaar." Those were the fashion benchmarks available in Middle America.

I don't think it is. It's just a fun read, but it also contains a lot of very useful medical/social advice for twenty-somethings.
