This is the only person enough to brave it out and put it on ebay, it won't even sell for a few dollars for six.

the Connemara Libraries have back copies of magazines.

My husband has Playboy magazines from the 1950's that are in excellent condition and we wonder the same thing.

Why not take them to a doctor's waiting room?
Seriously though you can check on eBay by typing in magazines and then specifying the ones you have in case any have been for sale. From that you can find an indicative price. Alternatively try a second hand book shop to see what they value them at.
P S I just looked on eBay and there are six for sale from 1976, opening bid ￡0.99. Keep your eye on it as there are 4 days left and the price may rise.
gather them up, take them outside, stack them neatly in a pile, pour lighter fluid and burn them
