Answers: I think that teens of america dont really know how these spoiled princess party girl celebs act!?

....they only look up to them because they are TAUGHT to.....
when you are taught to idolize something by a person that YOU look up to.......what do you expect?

When the TV is tuned into violence and sex and guns and shooting and blood and guts and your kids sit thru it all and yet you say: dont watch that!!!!
what do you expect!!????? when youre sittin watchin it!!!
kids learn what they see.
think about it.

Because they are children. Their brains are not fully developed yet.

not all teenage girls. complete overgeneralization.

because they see these silly celebrities get attention and then they want to get attention from everyone around them. in order to that- they have to act like skanks and be really really spoiled. i hope they come to their senses soon.

Because they know everything about them so it makes it easeir to be mroe like them... they might also get complimented to be like the person

Because people that have moral standards and ethics are boring.......oh yeah, and people have turned into corn-fed morons during the past 100 years

I don't get it either, so many of them have it made and then act SOOOO stupid!

thats true, they don't know how they act, but neither do you. you have no clue how they act other than what the media portrays, i do think kids should be looking up to people that better represent things. but still. no one really knows whats going on with celebs, a lot of them like Brittney Spears and Lindsey Lohan, they really just need space, media needs to back off so they can try to live a normal life.

Because they look pretty, go to parties all the time and have lots of boyfriends. Teens think that life is about fun and pleasure. Their parents spoiled them with toys, trips to Disney, etc, so they think life is one big party. Parents need to teach children to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and not to always expect life to be a big party.

ha.
even though i'm not from america, i totally know what you mean.
i think you're talking about celebs like paris hilton and britney spears, right? yeah, i guess so.
i'm a teen too, but i definitely DO NOT look up to them, and i think the reason some teens look up to them is because they think those kind of hard core partying girls are 'cool', and really 'in the trend', so they want to follow them!!

anyway, i personally look up to nicer people like Miley Cyrus and Emma Roberts. Miley is funny and acts and sings well, and she doesn't believe in pre-marital-sex, and Emma has her screen-godess-aunt-Julia Roberts to guide her in stuff. they're better than paris and birtney, right?

Because there thrown in there faces every where they go....it bugs fore sure nobody is original anymore....but you cant really blame them they just want to fit in and be normal (i think the media's to blame)

Because the "wild party celebs" are the famous ones getting all the attension. Have you ever noticed that they are always showing what the bad celebs are doing, than what the good ones are.

That's a stereotype. Most teens see them the way you do

yes
