What magazines do you collect?!

Question: I collect Vogue and National Geographic. Do you collect the newsstand issues or the subscriber issues? There is a difference you know...the newsstand issues have a hard (paper), glossy cover and the subscribers cover is paperback. Very thin and not shiny.

Also, if I collect Vogue which one will be worth more in the future? Paperback or the other one?

Your vogue won't be worth jack ever.

I collect people and ok weekly. I do the crosswords

sugar
girlie teen mags

I can't stand clutter so its hard to answer but I read National Geo and Smithsonian and enjoy House and Garden and Mary Englebriet and Readers Digest too.

I collect Oprah mag. And by the way, no magazine, i believe is going to be worth anything anymore because virtually everybody is trying to get into the magazine business.

I keep the anniversary issues of Rolling Stone, and then other magazines that have Tupac, Biggie, Aaliyah, Left Eye etc. I love my fashion mags, but i don't collect them.

Nylon
Spin
sometimes vogue, mostly international versions not american

SEVENTEEN Magazine
COSMOgirl! Magazine
teenVOGUE Magazine
GLAMOUR Magazine
ALLURE Magazine
(Those are my faves)

I also collect..
ELLE Magazine
J-14 Magazine
POPSTAR Magazine
marieclaire Magazine

P.S. : All subscriptions...I'm an addict...lol =]

I think the glossy cover should be more valuable cuz who wants a thin & not shiny cover!

I collect lots of magazines: 90% are fashion mags. I spend a lot on these mags, ppl think I'm nuts but I don't care cuz they don't understand my enthusiasm towards fashion and how impt these magazines are.

I collect American Vogue: I bought every single issue since September 2004, the one with the nine-models cover. I collect Paris Vogue too, they're so hard to find cuz it's only available by subscription in my country, but once-in-a-while it will pop out of nowhere in a back-issue magazine shop, my favorite hunting ground for foreign magazines. And then of course I collect Vogue Italia, it's my LIFE!!! The Italian editions are darn expensive so usually I'd only buy the big issues like March/September. I don't collect other Vogues cuz imo the rest are way too commercial or they're not up to high-fashion standards.

I prefer American, French & Italian fashion mags over anything else. I buy American mags the most cuz the European ones are extremely pricey. I don't collect Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Elle and teen mags cuz they don't appeal to me. I would usually buy W, V, Zink, Bazaar & WWD Accessories.

As for British mags, I would definitely buy every issue of Pop and Another Magazine. I stopped collecting Tatler after Isabella Blow's death--the standard dropped tremendously. i-D and Dazed & Confused are amazing, Wonderland & Blag ain't that bad but British Vogue is very disappointing.

I love Self Service and French but they never reached my country~~sigh, but thank God I manage to find Citizen K, Crash, 10, Purple & Mixte. I collect Numero & L'Officiel Paris cuz Borders hv evry single issue. I buy Jalouse once in a while and I've just started collecting Muse too.

Finally, my Italian collection: Flair, Vogue Pelle & Amica. Other than fashion mags, I also collect Special Double Issues of People & Entertainment Weekly, Vanity Fair, Gotham & Interview. Last but not least, I buy The New Yorker, Robb Report, BlackBook, Paper, Flaunt & Rolling Stone once in a while. Oh yea, all of my collection consists of newsstand issues. Do tell me if there are any interesting magazines out there ok? Thx!!!
