Is it possible to get into trouble for not paying for the magazines?!

Question: I subscribed to a few magazines and chose "Bill me Later" option. Is it possible for anything to happen considering there's billions of people out there?

Why would you choose to subscribe to something and not pay for it. It's like stealing the same magazine from a store. Also, what blaque_strength21 is saying is true. It does affect your credit rating and then down the road when the bank turns you down for a loan or a mortgage because of a magazine that "billions of people" subscribe to, you can lower your head in shame. Tsk Tsk.

Update: They could get a collections company to go after you depending on how much you owe. But it's probably cheaper for them to put it on your credit report as opposed to paying someone to keep calling you and sending stuff to you in the mail about an unpaid bill.

The most that would happen is that you would get 2 to 3 unpaid magazines and then they will start sending you threatening letters saying that they are going to turn it over to collections...but the worst thing is that it WILL be on your credit report!! That makes it hard for you to get credit and even to buy a house...can you believe it? Something as simple as a magazine.
