I read Seventeen from gr. 7 - my first year of college. The articles were very informative.

every issue they have a section where they show how to wear certain clothes with your body type
they include thicker and thinner body types and other things too
like bigger butt
smaller chest
just things that some people might not be comfortable with
i think this really is helpful for teenage girls because it teaches them they should love their body no matter what and they dont just focus on looking perfect like we are often told to

well, i dont really read the cosmo and seventeen stuff, but when i was little and to this day, i still read J-14 or M Magazine. it's not best for everybodyy, its mostly centered towards disney and nickelodeon stars.......and sometimes it does kinda get boringg about them talking about the same stars and overuse of exclamation points, but its still a GREAT MAGAZINE :P

But Seventeen is really good, it had advice and information that teen girls need. Fashion-wise it also tells you what type of things are flattering to your body type. It has horoscopes a real life stories and everything. I read it in like 10 minutes its so good :]

Travel Magazines are more benificial for teens, as they give you something to plan if seeing the world, and learning about other cultures.
Don't get caught up in dolly type mags, they are unreal, and really don't represent anything,or anybody.
