Nope, just a good imagination and a good knowledge of grammar
There are a couple of reasons a degree is benificial in trying to get into that industry.
1. You probably have little to no experience to put on a resume, some one hiring writers wants someone experienced.
2. When negociating salaries a degree will get you more money.
3. Even if you are a good writer now, you will be a much stronger writer after finishing school.
4. School will have you writing alot of things, so it will help you develop a portfolio to start with, and begining looking for work.
