Ebony Magazine scam?!

Question: I've recently begun receiving Ebony Magazine randomly in my mail along with several of my friends. The magazines are not addressed to "current household", they are in our names. One friend has received a bill without a customer service number or any contact information. NONE OF US read Ebony or have subscribed. Is anyone else experiencing this? Smells like a scam to me.

Yes, definitely smells like a scam, but doesn't sound to me like the type that I think that you are suggesting. I have not heard of this, and find it statistically improbable that it is happening to you and several of your friends together. Sounds to me like someone that you and your friends know subscribed you (and perhaps even sent a phony "bill").

Without trying to sound racist, I would suggest that you think about who you have pissed-off, or upset, of late, and wonder if they are of the same ethnic heritage as you.

jmho!
