Start local, find a reputable agency, and start small.
You can find a reputable agency by contacting the BBB in your area, and also your A.G. office.
Avoid the "casting couch" as you get older, and you can turn it into a good career.

Go to the Public library and look in the New York Yellow Pages. Take down the names of popular Modeling Agencies; send them photos of your self in a "close-up" photo and another one of you in a "full length" photo. (They won't send the photos back to you tho). Send them info on how to contact you as well. If you are photogenic, perfect teeth, tall and slim, have naturally square shoulders, good bone structure, and well proportioned, they "might" be interested. Modeling is extremely competitive; not many girls qualify. You have to have more than a pretty face. You'll need the patience of a saint..... many (gay) photographers will refer to you as a ho, slu*t, and 'cow' right in front of you, as tho you aren't even there. It's very tough, hon!! N/Y is a tough city, too.
