It's only their MOST FAMOUS image of the last 25 years... and has been reprised and updated, already. They did a full article about her then and now -- and retook her picture as an adult. Just scan their website, and send an email. You'll get it, but you have to watch WHAT you do with that image... of course.
The photo is so beautiful and her eyes - wow!
Though i can find hi-res images of Afgan girls - i can't find THAT Afgan girl.
Now for a story:
There was a special on the discovery channel where they went back to find her again and sure enough, she was in the same place they last found her only she was old and wrinkly but she still retained that mystery about her.
OMG, Did u nno that da guy who took dat pic in 85 luked her up and found her about a year ago (she wuz ugly!!)anywho he published a second article,but sry cant remember da guys name
