Do something unexpected but interesting. Think about some different topics not usually the ones people think of and do that. People will respond when they see someone do something unique, i can garrentee your teacher will appreciate it because she has probably seen the same topics a millions times.
Think about things you're interested in and what your teacher might find interesting as well.
