well one of the answers that say it is wrapped in plastic started with "i think...".
as far as having conflicting answers, i will clear this up for you. maxim magazines come by themselves in the mail. no wrapping, no black cover (because the cover models are covered pretty well). it comes in the mail exactly as if you would buy it off the news stand.
It comes in Plastic.....Because that way if it is raining or if they drop the magazine or if it tears by accident it has a plastic cover that way nothing happens to it and they dont have to replace it
I have a subscription to Maxim and sorry to tell you it doesn't get delivered any special way at all. UNLESS, it is a special edition and then its in a plastic bag.
I think its a solid plastic bag, my ex-roomate used to get gear and it was in a solid bag to keep the mail people from looking at it.
