Anybody have an opinion about Grit Magazine?!
Question: I'm thinking about subscribing to Grit Magazine which is billed as a sister magazine to Mother Earth News. I've become generally disenchanted with Mother Earth News and am looking for something that is more of a do-it-yourself/back-to-the-land kind of publication.

Grit's been around forever but has a new look and feel in the last year or so. The website might help you check out content and such: www.grit.com. They seem to have some DIY stuff. A few articles I found: Start garden plants from seeds, Make your own sawhorse, Adventures with mail-order chickens.
