Question: I love writing. I really want to become published and share my work with the world. I have quite a colllection of poetry and I hear that I can't publish a book of poetry until I have published 10-15 poems in other places. Where could I publish? What magazines will take poetry?
P.S.--- I can't get Writer's Market until tomorrow and I really want to start submitting asap.
P.S.S.--- I write poetry about religion, love, death, etc. Most of them are fairly deep and thought provoking. Some are depressing, some aren't. Just any ideas of places that accept poetry would help.

Try profiling it on: www.worthyofpublishing.com, If the market rates your work highly (which is the same people that buy books), then you may end up attracting a publisher.
I do know international publishers keep their eyes on the website for books the market are rating highly. There is a poetry genre on there too. Good luck
