For an aspiring actress and singer, would posing for Playboy or men's magazi!

Question: How often can Playboy help the Playmates and centerfold girls get into hollywood? After all, Playboy has helped Pamela Anderson and Jennifer McCarthy start their careers in hollywood. Did these two women ever posed full nude and show their private parts in Playboy?

Yes they both did ... if you want to be taken seriously as an actress or a singer ... keep your clothes on ... least that way if you make it you'll know it was because of talent not just because a bunch of old pervs were drooling over your body

sometimes posing for magazines like that can hinder your budding career. ppl may not want to sign you b/c you posed for mens mags b/c they dont want a person with an "image" like that to be affiliated with their company. you might get recognized, but for all the wrong reasons. why not do some commercial modeling instead to get your face out there?

Yeah they did. And look at all the respect it's gotten them.

One got Hepatitis C, the other married and divorced before it was a two year marriage and kept the kid. What great role models these women are!

probably... you might be better starting off as a myspace of facebook celebrity and go from there, like soulja boy and tila tequila did, its slightly classier

honestly no, it would be hard to break from th type cast of being labeld as a sexual person

It could be a leg up, or it could stop it right in the tracks to, hard choice, but I for one would like to see you in playboy

No. They are what science calls "Black Swans". An anomaly. They are the exception, not the rule. Most women that pose for Playboy are lucky if they have any sort of fame beyond 3 pages, if that Work your as* off, and grind it out, and you can do it without having to degrade yourself. I know a few girls that posed for Playboy...one is working at a gym. That should tell you something.

It depends upon what kind of actress you want to be. If you want to be taken seriously & hope to someday make a good name for yourself, then I would advise against posing for men's magazines.

If, though, you would like to be known more for beauty than substance, then by all means, pose. It can't hurt you. But keep in mind that beauty fades, Pamela Anderson isn't looking so good, and she doesn't get (nor did she) any worthwhile acting roles.

While that will definitely increase your exposure, you're not going to gain much respect from casting agents. Pam and Jenny are rare cases; there are tons of women who have posed in Playboy who we have never seen in a (decent) movie or heard on the radio. I would suggest training or going to school and focusing on your inner talents that won't droop after a few years. Take vocal lessons, join a theater company, and hone your craft.

NOOOOOO!!!
Think about it..with computers and online photo archives and cellphones and such, your nakedness could be beamed all over the world, and stored in hard drives, on CDs, memory sticks, etc. PERVERTS can drool over you, then go out and RAPE and KILL someone because YOU aroused them. ANYONE, any age, both sexes, all "genders", could get access to your picture, even your neighbors and relatives and your teachers at school.
And it could come back to haunt you later. Both Marilyn Monroe and Madonna were unknowns when they posed for Playboy, but like all the other girls, they had to sign a release giving Playboy the right to publish those photos whenever they chose to. The "whenever" happened to be when they became STARS, and Playboy issues with their FAMOUS, naked bodies sold very well. That kind of "public nudity", once in print, is pretty PERMANENT.
And what about your personal life? What if your SO or future children saw those pictures of you? Would THEY be OK with it? If MY husband posed naked for a magazine,I wouldn't CARE how much they'd paid him, I'd be FURIOUS that he's now naked in MILLIONS of bedrooms, and I'd divorce his tasteless patoot!
Don't do anything you'd be ashamed to tell your great-grandmother about!

It depends on what movies you want to star in. If its adult movies you want to make a career in then thats the way to go.

Pam Anderson And Jenni McCarthy only show their boobs.
Sara Jean Underwood,Jillian Grace and Irina Voronina actually act in 'Epic Movie'.Kelly Monaco used to be in Baywatch.Heather Rene Smith use to be in MTV reality show 'The Hills'.Jennifer Walcott use to be in American Pie:Band Camp.

you can try, to find out

Out of all the PM's of all time, only those women (and Anna Nicole) made it. It will not help you. Playmates are only Playmates...but it's generally all they want. Most are career women, wives, and mothers, not movie star types.
