Can people tel Me which decade was the best in music any sort of and why?!
Question: mid 70s to mid 80s (hey, a decade is 10 years) - at least they had music you can actually dance to and sing along to back then - not just beats to jump around on.
I was seriously born too late! I hate most of my generation's music, at least the songs that are too often played in the clubs.

There has been good music in all the decades as well as bad

Nothing will ever compare to the 60s. Elvis, Monkeys, Beatles, and the list goes on. We had such great music. What great memories.
Well I know I am biased having been a teen in the sixties , but how could you look past an era that had the Beatles , Elvis , the emergence of Motown , The Who etc etc etc.
Mind you I can always find great music from the 70' and 80's as well
the 90's were great for british bands, lots of guitar music, the beginning of Britpop. Also the 90's had some great dance music.
The 80s and 90s because that's when I was growing up and started listening and going to concerts. But I also like things that came from the 60s like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Supremes and plenty of solo singers. I'll even listen to a few things from the 40s and 50s like the Ames Brothers and Nat King Cole.
I love music, so I could go on and on....
definitely the 60's they were FAB,
the 1960's had it all pop, soul,drug rock and the british invasion nothing will ever top that
The seventies were great.The music changed so much in this decade,dare I say more than any other. We had Glam Rock, then Punk, then Disco.Bands like Abba,Queen etc.survived almost all the seventies. Look how much is sampled now from the seventies.The sixties were good and the eighties good too. For me the seventies just get it.

dont get that now do we? 80s music rocks, and yes there are some cringeworthy stuff of the 80s like MC Hammer
