Well, since Playboy is mostly read for the articles, I would give a less subtle hint and bring a Hustler. Or two.
What kind of question is this? If I were in the hospital the last thing I would be concerned about is what to read.

and got more than the normal 'attention' from more than one nurse while i was there......
