My idol/favorite singer, Pink (also spelled P!nk). She's such a great role model for girls around the world.
She contributes to many causes, too, like gay marriage/anti-animal abuse/groups and charities that help people with Anorexia/suicide groups and charities/and ect.
She's really funny, and is very caring too. I watched some interviews of her on youtube one day when I was bored. Great stuff ;)
And I don't think her, or any other singer/band are getting the credit they deserve nowadays. It's mostly models and girly-actors being printed out on the magazine cover.
Most girls my age would prefer a magazine with their favorite band/singer, then some model, no matter how beautiful she is (unless it's a guy reading the magazine....XD)
Besides, I think models give women a bad reputation. You don't have to be beautiful, or skinny, in order to be gorgous. Personality is all that matters, and I firmly stand for that. I would rather have some ugly a-s-s boyfriend who has a sparkling, and caring personality than some hot prick who'd cheat around on me with other women.
Pink is such an influence, and she's both gorgous personality/AND appearence wise, something all girls should take in consideration, not just their boob size, Also, I can relate to her songs so well, too, like her songs about having broken homes, and sad stuff like that =(

Id pick Alicia Keys because not only does she write, and produce her own songs, she does a lot with charities.She also acts!!
