Nah I don't think so.
I was thinking the paparazzi would take a hit because they would lose money by selling phony photos and false stories, but when you think about it, the tv episodes aren't aired until a few weeks after they are filmed. So no one knows it's a joke until the episode airs. I bought a magazine three weeks ago with pictures of Avril's baby bump and just saw the episode where she fakes it last week.
It's a win for everyone: the paparazzi still make their money by selling what they think are real photos, the magazines still make money because people like us are buying the magazines thinking the stories are real, and the celebs have a good laugh. But I'm not sure how long the show will last.
I think a better question is, will the show Pop Fiction make us, as fans, think twice about believing everything gossip magazines publish??
But I'll still read them anyway, gossip mags are my guilty pleasure :)
i think that show is bad....i think it will get canceled by paris soon
