Does anyone know where you can buy old magazines? -such as a magazine sold last !

Question: Try the same place where you can buy old books.

Half Price Books ( http://www.halfpricebooks.com/find_a_sto... ) sells old periodicals, usually for less than half the cover price.

Near the front entrance, you'll see a rack of magazines from within the last month, but there's also a periodical section with stuff dating back for years. And if you don't see what you want, it might be in the stockroom.

sumwhere....

ebay

Most magazine offer old copies fromt he publisher, look in your current mag find a contact for the publisher and phone them up.

Either:

contact the publisher or magazine company (from the website)

or

visit your local library.

If you are looking just to get the content, and you're a student, check with your school librarian. Many school libraries have electronic archives of periodicals. You may get lucky.

You can also try ebay, if the mag is collectable.

Lastly, check the magazine's website. I've seen some that have back-issues available for sale over the internet.

sometimes you can e-mail the magazine and ask them if they stock back issues --- librarys usually save back issues of magazines -- or maybe amazon has something --- sorry wish I had better ideas --- good luck --- a real long shot would be to post a wanted ad on freecycle or craigslist ---

Try the library. They sell them when they get older and need more room for new mags. If not for sale, at least you can read them. Usually you just throw them away after reading anyway, so this way you get to save $$ :)

Usually the publisher will have copies available, failling that try typing "magazine back issues" into a search engine.

You could try contacting the publisher directly and purchasing back copies - they often have them on file. I have definitely done it for newspapers before.
