I would say that GQ and Details magazine are actually appropriate for his age, especially if he is between 15 and 18 years old. Other magazines I would suggest him trying would be Nylon Guys and Men's Vogue.

I would first suggest checking out some of the magazine's websites to see which ones would suit him best:
http://men.style.com/gq
http://men.style.com/details/
http://guys.nylonmag.com/
http://www.mensvogue.com/

http://www.gifts.com/personality/search/...

I would say those are the ones....he is a young adult. If you think some of the topics are questionable and that is what you are worried about, then discuss them with him- it could end up making you have a better relationship with your son. Ask him what he thinks of the topic, and then tell him what you think. It could be that he is thinking about modeling....and he could just be the kind of guy that likes being the best dressed guy in the room. It could give him the attention that he likes.... I would look on the bright side and not overreact- he isn't doing drugs, you arent up at 3am wondering if he will come home...you arent waiting for the phone to ring and the police to tell you they caught your son and to come bail him out- he likes GQ and Details.....get him a subscription and hug him.

NYLON magazine.
