Question: On this weeks cover of Vogue mag. It has Lebron James and a white supermodel (can't remember her name) on the cover. The theme is suppose to be,"the king of basketball and the queen of models".Lebron is only the third man to make the cover,but now black-americans are up in arms stating that it is racisist.Whats up with that?

Giselle Bundchen is the gal on this cover, and I see nothing racist about it at all. Someone has a huge imagination to say racism is involved.
It's in poor taste, and will send the KKK into conniptions; but it isn't overtly racist.
I personally don't see anything wrong with it. If having a black man (an athlete, if anything) is a breakthrough! You know how dominately white that industry is? I see nothing wrong, but I may be missing something.
And perhaps someone has too much time on their hands and wants to stir up something out of barely anything.
people don't know what racist is so they just go at whatever their warped idea of it says it is.
People think drawing black people or mexicans is racist, they think mentioning them is racist like the word is a taboo because of morons who go up in arms cause they think everything is racist.

The real racists are the people that think that it is. They try to descibe him as how they see black people.
The way I feel about it is: It really doesn't matter what we all think about it. It matters how the people modeling for the cover felt. Obviously, he was just fine with doing the cover, so it didn't appear to be a problem with him. Everyone should leave it alone in that case.
