Put magazines to good use!?!
Question: I have a bunch of old magazines and i want to make something out of them. Even if it is just using the letters! Any Ideas????

Consider offering them to a pre-school/daycare. They would appreciate the magazines for children's projects. You or they could make cards or a collage with the letters and pictures.
I remember making a tree out of old magazines as a child. You stand the magazine up and fold the top corner of each page down into the spine of the magazine to make a triangle out of each page, then glue the front cover to the back cover and you have the shape of a tree (cone shape). We would also spraypaint the trees green. Possibly decorate it by cutting out circles from other magazines.
Try to find letters to spell your friends names and attach them to a photo as a small gift.
The public schools may already have their own magazines they try to use or get rid of. Either way, consider recycling them rather than throwing them in the trash pile.
Wallpaper for your room.
Take them to an elementary school. Put an add on craigslist.com
you could make quite a few pics and make a collage out of it or make a mosaic.
Donate the magazines to a local library,doctors office,or some type of shelter.
rip them out and tape them to your walls. thats what i do, and my walls are completely covered with my favorite celebrity articles...you cant see any of the pink walls
