Question: Im 14 years old , am I too young for Seventeen magazine!?
I am 14 years old, I will be 15 in like a month!. I would really like to get a subscription to Seventeen Magazine (which i would pay for myself) My mom wont let me because she beleives Seventeen Magazine is too old for me and i can get it when i am older!

-about 70% of the articles are about fashion, beauty, and style, and becoming a better person
- seventeen tries to have articles that inspire teens and that help them to become better indiviuals ( Seventeen Body Peace Treaty!.!.!.or the Freshman Fifteen that gives you an insight to college)
-most 14 year olds are freshmen in high school, so i would think that you are okay
you could buy a seventeen magazine a read it with your mom so she would see what's in it, and so she wouldn't be as apprehensive about you subscribing to itWww@Enter-QA@Com

I have the same overprotective mom problem!.!. but maybe you should write to the magazine and ask them what age groups they suggest for their mag!. Im pretty sure it will include at least 14 so you could use that as backup!. Believe me!.!. ive been stuck in this situation more than once but it'll get better!.!.!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Seventeen is definetly not too old for you; I was getting it when I was 13 and 14!. Maybe your mom is just skeptical because of the name!. There isn't anything inappropriate, and you are right!.!.many comments in the magazine are from 14 year olds, and even some are from younger readers!. Almost every part of the magazine is suitable for teenagers, and most of the articles relate to fashion, beauty, style, some celebrities, and becoming a better person with articles about developing self-esteem, etc!. They always have an article about making body peace as part of their Seventeen Body Peace Treaty!. In addition, Seventeen always tries to have articles that inspire teens and that help them to become better individuals by giving websites for charity work, etc!. that people as young as 13 can participate in during summer holidays, or just every day in general!. There is nothing that I have ever read in Seventeen before that was inappropriate!. There were a few stories in the past (as part of the life stroies section) that were graphic, but they always give you a warning on the page so that you don't read it if it's that bad!. Over the past few years, I have only seen one article like this!. If your mom still has an issue, maybe compromise to buy an issue as a trial and read it together so she can see exactly what's in it!. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to you; it's one of my favorite magazines! :DWww@Enter-QA@Com
