From my observation, the best writers/editors of fashion magazines (print or television) have had an arts background - theatre, costume design, painting, art history!. Fashion design is a good thing to have, but I would minor in art history or english!.
I know from personal experience that you don't need a journalism degree to write for magazines!. If you want to work in fashion print you should work on getting a tear sheet together and work at becoming an intern!. You can get your tear sheet by writing for a blog with solid financing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

you could but you would also need a journalism/english major for the magazine aspect of it all!.!.!.

I don't think it would be the best avenue!. Check out the curriculum for a few FD programs!. They're not really geared for that!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
