The main key is to focus on your audience- are you writing a magazine for teen girls or older people!? You have to keep in mind on what they really care about!. Magazines like Cosmogirl focus on fashion, celebrities, and beauty tips- just what teens really care about!.
You also have to be knowledgeable about the subject and have good resources to back up your articles!.
Some starters would be what's "in" for fashion, real-world happenings and dangers, environmental problems, celebrity gossip, beauty tips, and much more!.
