Within Australia, what is the legal age for buying m rated magazines?!

Question: Within Australia, what is the legal age for buying m rated magazines!?
I'm wondering if there is a legal age (in Australia) for magazines with an M rating on the front!. They all say "Unrestricted" and have an M in a circle underneath, but I recently went into a news-agency and picked one up and the Asian shopkeepers like "NOT FOR YOU!"!. I know that you need to be 18 for magazines with an R on the front, but is their actually a legal age for magazines which have an "M" on the front!?

Just an example is a magazine called The Picture, which has an M on the front and says Unrestricted and not an R with a restricted like Penthouse does!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The classification these magazines fall into is "Unrestricted - M - Not recommended for readers under 15 years"!. Just like an M-rated television show, it is nothing more than a recommendation, and does not mean that you *must* be 15 or older to buy the magazine!. Unrestricted means just that -- there is no restriction on who can buy M-rated magazines, just a guideline!.

Now, the shopkeeper does have the right to refuse service to you or any other customer, but it is in no way illegal for them to sell you the magazine regardless of your age!. Take your business elsewhere!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
