Question: Is there any place where I can get a Teen Job!?
I'm 13 years old (turning 14 in november 7) and I've been wanting to get a job for a while but don't know what to do or how to start!. May someone please help me!

I'm not sure about specific places, but here are some guidelines about your age group (12-13 years old)
* May not be employed by firms subject to the FLSA!.
* May be employed in IWC businesses only!.
* May not work on any scheduled school day!.
* May only work on weekends and school holidays!.
* May work up to 8 hours per day!.
* May work during school year between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM!.
* May work until 9:00 PM from June 1st (or last day of spring semester) to Labor Day (or first day of fall semester)!.
You should start asking local businesses!. Restaurants typically prefer people to be at least 16 years old but if you aren't working directly in the preparation of food, you could probably work at a grocery store!. In my state (SD) you can start working at 14 years old (unless employed by immediately family, then you can work whenever)!. I got my first job at a grocery store as a cashier!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
