Real Women vs Models in Ads?!

Question: Real Women vs Models in Ads!?
I've noticed there are less and less models in ads, magazine covers, commercials etc!. Dove's Campaign for real beauty is a perfect example of this!. Along with some major jean/clothes manufactures!. I personally think it's great, because it was just crazy to have a 19year old model in wrinkle cream ad or a 100 lb 6'0 tall model in a cellulite ad!.
Even on fashion mags there are models like Reese Witherspoon, Jen Aniston, Queen Latifah for Cover Girl etc!.
Does all of this turn you off to buy the product or are you happy to see the changes that are taking place!? Would you still rather see "real" models!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
i think there should be a mixture! yes not all women are size 0s but some are! and all body types should be respected! so i do think that there should be size 16 models!.!.but also size 6, and size 0 models!. i dont think there should have to be one or the other!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like seeing "real" models!. As someone who will never wear a size 6, much less a size zero, I find it comforting to see models who have the proportions of normal people!. Not everyone who's a plus size is fat, and all those skinny models just make us more self conscious about our size!. Honestly, a product having Queen Latifah's endorsement is one I'm more likely to buy, not less because I respect her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yes, it's ridiculous!.
i would more likely buy the clothes if i saw them on someone with a similar body type as me (not super skinny and tall, which i'm not)!. then i would probably think there would be a better chance that they'd look good on me too!. does that answer your question!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
