Not really!. They create a vivid mental image but they are not that bad!. The parts that your mom thinks are bad are very mild, but it also depends on your age and maturity!. well, kinda!.!.!.but its a really good, vivid detailed book, although the 4th book, breaking dawn does have some explicit content to it!. overall, i would recommend this book for middle school aged people!. -btw, u can the twilight books super cheap at kmart- i got my copy for only $7! :) hope it helped!Www@Enter-QA@Com
