Question: A question about a magazine!?
My father has worked in Japan since I was 10 years old!. When I hit 15, I was a typical "posh, sloane girl in the Chelsea-set" and loved fashion because I could afford to shop in designer stores, and was lucky enough to go to catwalk shows with my mother!.
Anyway, since the age of 15, my father would send me home a Japanese fashion magazine in the post once a month- "FRUiTS Magazine"!. I loved it!.
Now i'm 23 and really, really want to get my hands on a copy of FRUiTS again!. I would like, if possible, to get a subscription!.
Does anyone know of how I could get a subscription of FRUiTS to the UK!?
Otherwise, does anyone know where I could buy a copy of the magazine in London (preferably in central London area!?)
I have looked on the website for subscriptions but they only seem to be able to ship to the USA!.

I go into a shop called RD Franks in London (on Winsley Street)!. They sell a huge variery of independent, hard-to-find magazines!. They specialise in finding rare magazines, especially ones from Japan, America, Australia etc!.
I've seen in the shop before that they have FRUiTS, because I remember having a flick through it!. It's a nice read- I can see why you want to read it again!.
Anyway, if you can get to RD Franks, go in- it's a great find!. FRUiTS magazine costs ￡13!.50 an issue!.
If you can't get to the shop itself- you can still find FRUiTS on their website!. Again, it costs ￡13!.50 for a single copy- and an annual UK subscription costs ￡177 (that's for 12 issues)!.

I do recommend, though, that you go to the shop in person if you can- have a haggle with the man behind the counter and he usually will give you at least ￡10 off the subscription!. It's worth a try, especially as you live in London!

If you could befriend a Japanese person online and do a deal with them, you could send them fashion magazines from London in exchange for the Fruits magazine!. It's just an idea as it'll keep costs low and you'll both be happy! There is a site below, but I'm sure if you looked online you could find a group!.
