What classes to take to own a magazine?!
Question: What classes to take to own a magazine!?
yeah, this may sound like a big dream but when i am older i would like to become a magazine editor / start my own magazine
something as big as seventeen, cosmogirl!.!.!.
dont mock my idea,
but how would i know what classes to take !?
i want to live in like beverly hills / newyork / SOMEWHERE NICE and famouss
what classes do i take and what do i re-search to become this!? i do not want to design clothes!. but all of my skills put together such as:
poetry/writing skills,
using computer,
webpage design,
editing photos,
taking photos,
choosing the best photos,
using the computer,
typing,
being colour-coordinated,
etc!.!.

All those skills are important when working in publishing, but to be an editor you also need management skills because you'll spend very little time actually writing!.
Any kind of business classes would be good too, because running a magazine should be viewed the same as any other business!.
I think you would benefit from doing some work experience with your local newspaper so you can see how the publishing business works from the inside!.

A Graphic Design major, or Journalism!. I know The Art Institute in San Francisco has a specialized major for magazine writing/page designing (Fashion Journalism) I believe!.
