To make a pdf file you need to use software such as Adobe InDesign CS4!. You layout the pages (graphics, text and all the elements) as you want and then you export as a PDF!.
Issuu also accepts the following file formats: DOC, PPT, ODT, WPD, SXW, RTF, ODP, and SXI!.
