Do movie theatres all play the same trailers before the movie?

For example, I live in Toronto, Ont. and saw Transformers this week, so would someone in the States (or another part of Canada) have seen the same trailers before the movie? There was this movie trailer with a going away party and an earthquake or something, but they didn't say the name of the movie. I was wondering it anyone knows.

No, what I mean is... If I watched Transformers and another person in the USA watched Transformers.. did we both see the same trailers before the movie came on? Because they showed a trailer and I didn't understand what the movie was.
