I remember dancing to this remake a few years back and I can't find it anywhere! I think it was released by a group from the UK. It's very fast paced and a lot of fun.

Having been in the Navy for 20 years, as well as knowing my way well across Asia, I have been privilaged to be able to pick up import versions of classic rock albums; one of the albums I was lucky to find, was a very thorough and complete Doobie Brothers 'greatest hits' import edition.
The album contains a very hip, very static dance remix of "Long Train Running"; although I've never actually dance to it, I HAVE worn myself out, many a time, trying to workout to it.
I've had the CD for several years, and have been most satisfied with it, so I have no idea if there is a stateside counterpart (though there have been several Doobie 'greatest hits albums produced, stateside).
It appears that Amazon still has the CD available; Amazon wants more than a pretty penny for it, but it looks like some private sellers might be more accomodating.
